“A majority of the sales impact in the Middle East is in Intelligent Devices, so youll see that suppress growth for the period, but that will unlock in Q4 and into next year.”
Ram Krishnan · COO
In context
“Ram Krishnan (Chief Operating Officer): On Intelligent Devices, absolutely. If you look at orders performance as a leading indicator, you'll start seeing that return to growth. A majority of the sales impact in the Middle East is in Intelligent Devices, so youll see that suppress growth for the period, but that will unlock in Q4 and into next year. Our guide there is 3% to 6%. We've had years of double digits, but in our long-range framework, Systems & Software is a 6% to 9% growth business, and Intelligent Devices is in the 3% to 6% range. China improved to minus 3% which is better than the first half and was sequentially better in Q3 over Q2. We expect China to continue to improve into low-single-digit growth levels in 2027.”
